Wishing you a wonderful 2023!
The turn of the year, the New Year holidays, and Coming of Age Day have all passed safely.
Toka Ebisu is over as well.
Pottery Tocoton is now off to a start for 2023.
L'artesanna and Ryo visited the Imamiya Ebisu Shrine in Osaka on January 10th.
There were no food stalls again this year... which made me a little sad.
I heard that Nishinomiya and other areas had them, which just made it feel a bit lonelier.
But! Whether there are stalls or not, Ebessan (the god of business) is still there.
So, "Bring the bamboo, bring business prosperity!"♪
First, we greeted the deity.
"Thanks to you, we were able to finish our first year safely.
We ask for your favor again this year. We are truly grateful."
This was L'artesanna's second time visiting Ebessan.
Even while being jostled by the Osaka crowd pushing from behind and the sides, we were able to pray properly.
Once we finished our prayers at the main hall, we went to get our lucky bamboo branch (Fukusasa) and headed to the Fuku-musume (lucky maidens) to have the lucky charms attached! (Everything is filled with good fortune!)
We safely got them attached again this year!
We get the same items attached every year. Connections, gratitude, and food!! (Haha)
The two of us at Pottery Tocoton are firmly in the "Food first!" camp.
It’s not that we’re trying to emulate Ebessan, but recently people often tease Ryo that his face is starting to look like a real-life Ebessan.

Toka Ebisu isn't complete until you’ve properly decorated and prayed!
All tasks have been successfully completed.
Now, here's to meeting many people again this year.
May we be able to deliver our pottery creations to many people all over the world!
Pottery classes and pottery experiences are held from Monday to Thursday and on Saturday.
Please feel free to contact us if you are interested.
L'artesanna’s pottery, which evokes the feel of Europe and the earth, is now on sale.
Why not bring a touch of the Mediterranean to your home?
