ハンドメイドEXPO ミニ in てんしば無事終わりました!

Handmade EXPO Mini in Tenshiba has successfully concluded!

Hola! This is Ryo from Tougei Tocoton.

The cherry blossoms in Osaka started blooming all of a sudden and reached full bloom in an instant, and yesterday was such refreshing weather. In such lovely weather, the Handmade Expo Mini in Tenshiba was successfully concluded.

The venue was bustling with many people on the day of the event,
and the cherry blossoms in the park were in full bloom!
There is a spacious lawn in the center of Tenshiba, where many families, couples, and friends had gathered.

We set off at 8:00 AM and set up diligently, quietly preparing while wishing for many customers to come.
This time, L’artesanna and I decorated our booth with handmade cherry blossom petals. Did you notice?

This time, we brought a lot of items with a new, European-style design.
Many people seemed to have their eyes caught by these blue plates.
I’m so grateful!

The sign for "Follow us on Instagram..." was a work of sweat and tears that I, Ryo, created around 10:00 PM the night before after finishing my design work.

These triangular plates and curry dishes also seemed to be very well-received.
And the haniwa figures and hairpins, which were secretly a huge hit.
These are part of our Nipponica series. Yes, these are pieces created under the influence of Japanese culture.

The voices of passersby saying, "Oh, look, a haniwa!" were so cheerful, and it made me and L’artesanna happy that we created them.

As for the hairpins and rings, we had a whole lineup of interesting items that might make you wonder, "Wait, you were inspired by that!?" such as our rice ball hairpins and bumpy hairpins.
I was busy explaining them to everyone who came to the booth and spoke to us, and it seemed like everyone found them delightful, saying, "Why that? (laughs)."

By the way, the small storage bags lined up on the far right in the second photo are one-of-a-kind items that L’artesanna’s mother handmade in Barcelona and sent to us.
Since the fabric is from Barcelona, Spain, they featured designs that are rarely seen in Japan.
We will bring them to the next market, so please check them out if you're interested!

Once again, many people stopped by to talk to us and purchased our items.
Thank you so very much.
L’artesanna also did a great job explaining many things in Japanese (in Osaka dialect), so she said she had a lot of fun!!

Next time, we will be at the market at Southern Mall Rokko in Kobe on April 24th.
We hope to see you all again!
