Welcome to the Tougei Tocoton blog, a space on our website where we will write about everything that interests us in the world of ceramics.
To express ourselves more easily and personally, Ryo will write in Japanese and I will write in Catalan. If you feel like reading my partner's posts, a good online translator will be a great help.
Some time ago, I wrote a few posts on my Instagram profile titled "Eastern Earths." The Tougei Tocoton project gradually grew, and I decided to prioritize it, setting aside the motivations that had driven me to start publishing those texts.
But now that the online store is up and running, I think it is a good time to continue and integrate the interests that make us love the craft of clay into the website's blog. I haven't thought about any specific schedule or content guidelines (beyond, of course, the world of clay), and since I don't want that to hinder my writing, I have decided to simply pick up where I left off.
I hope you enjoy this corner that smells of earth,
The artisan
